V151 Vertical Scrubber Fume Scrubbers IPF custom designs and builds Wet Scrubbers in both vertical and horizontal configurations. Wet Scrubbers use a gas absorption process to remove mists and gasses from process air streams. The gasses are transferred from the air stream (gas phase) into a liquid (mass transfer) which is more or less soluble. Beds of various type packing media force the gas and liquid stream to come into contact with each other. Standard removal efficiencies are in the 95% - 99% range above 10 microns.
