and tested prior to shipment. These unique testing and quality control capabilities
have earned Colasit ISO 9001 certification for their Quality Assurance System.
Colasit A.G. certifies that all IPF/Colasit fan models CMV125 through CMV400
are licensed to bear the AMCA seal.
In-stock availability
and delivery on demand
IPF/Colasit is prepared to meet fast-delivery
requirements for a new or replacement fan from an in-stock inventory, and
provide overnight delivery of repair parts to prevent a prolonged and costly
shutdown. Other models and custom-configured fans are typically available
within one to three weeks.
Fan Selection Information
and Guide
IPF/Colasit fans can be selected by knowing
the capacity in cubic feet/m (CFM) needed, the system static pressure in inches
of water, the type of drive, and the plastic material needed for the application.
If ordering a replacement fan of the same capacity, refer to the information
on the IPF nameplate. An IPF/Colasit application specialist is always available
to assist in ordering the correct plastic fan for your needs.
IPF/Colasit¹s
two-year full-confidence warranty
IPF/Colasit plastic fans carry a two-year warranty on parts
and performance. The motor is excluded from this warranty and carries a one-year
warranty from the motor manufacturer. IPF/Colasit will supply replacement
parts without cost for any component that fails under this warranty within
two years after initial installation. IPF/Colasit is not liable for the reinstallation
expense of any part nor any consequential damage due to failure of the fan.

The
best quality materials and craftsmanship
High-efficiency
impellers result in low power consumption, operating costs, and quieter operation
that betters AMCA standards. The aluminum bushing of the impeller is completely
sealed from exposure to corrosion by a tightly fitted impeller hub, and the
inlet side is sealed by a plastic cap. The steel support frame and motorbase
are powder coated with a corrosion-resistant finish. In addition to being
highly resistant to chemical corrosion, PPs is self extinguishing and will
not support combustion.

Weather hood: PVC enclosure completely protects motor, shaft, and drive components
Vibration isolators: RIS (rubber-in-shear) or spring type are used to lessen vibration and assure quiet operation
Flexible connectors: Six-inch PVC sleeve with two stainless steel draw bands is recommended on the suction side of the fan to prevent mechanical forces from acting on the fan housing
Inlet and outlet flanges: Drilled or undrilled flanges are available in either SAE or DIN configurations
Variable speed drives: Various pulley-set ratios are available for belt-driven fans
Exhaust stacks: Polypropylene or PVC stacks are available in applicable sizes
