Centrifugal FRP Fans

IPF centrifugal fans provide optimum performance with minimal interruption.

Clockwise or counterclockwise rotation in all 8 standard discharge positions is available. The fans are available in sizes from 4" to 72" in diameter with capacities from 500 CFM to 150,000 CFM at static pressures to over 30".

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Fans

FRP Fan construction for Centrifugal or Axial fan styles.

IPF Fiberglass blowers are made from premium grade flame retardant vinyl ester Ashland Derakane and Hetron Resins. "C" Veil for corrosion resistance is standard with Nexus veil in single or double thickness as additional options for certain chemical environments.

FRP Fan construction meets SPI, ASTM C582 and ASTM 4167-82 standards.

Most common applications are: Waste Water Treatment Plants, Metal Finishing Process Lines, Chemical Plants, Air Pollution Control Scrubbers, Pulp and Paper Mills, Semi-Conductor and PCB board manufacturing, and Laboratory Fume Hoods.

Spark resistant construction or Sparkless Fans quality is achieved by adding graphite impregnation into housing and impeller for static electricity dissipation and grounding fan properly.

In Line Axial FRP Fans

Our Axial fans come in 11 sizes with capacities from 100 CFM to 110,000 CFM at static pressures up to 2.5" WC.

Both duct mount and roof mount styles available. Like our centrifugal fans, our axial fans are designed for long, trouble-free service. Their housings and bearing chambers are made from premium-grade, fire-retardant resins that provide excellent corrosion-resistance in most chemical environments.

FRP Sound Enclosures

With the selection of acoustical treatments, housing insulation, silencers and enclosures, our fans can be custom adapted to specific applications.

Teflon Seal

Shaft seals available in Teflon, or with stuffing box. Mechanical seals are also available

IPF FRP Fans are Industrial and Research Grade ventilation equipment and are designed to exhaust corrosive air chemical environments. IPF LLC has over 35 years experience providing FRP Fans for chemical laden gas streams. Custom or stock fans are available. There are some chemical applications such as the ventilation of industrial or laboratory solvents where the FRP Fan material is a better match than is the case with PVC or Polypropylene.

FRP fans have a temperature rating of approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the speed of the impeller and the concentration and make up of chemistry in the air stream.

FRP Dampers, Rain Cap, Flanged Inlet and Outlet, Exhaust stacks, PVC flex connectors, Stainless Steel Shafts, Roof Curb Cover are available as options.

Extremely low vibration down to 0.025 in./sec. for direct drive and 0.0785 in./sec. for belt drive

Impeller types available: Paddle-wheel, backward-curved, and forward-curve radial tip.

All fan surfaces have "C" grade glass veil or option Nexus veil to protect against weathering, fumes spillage, and ultraviolet attack.
