IPF/Colasit History and Profile

Since 1948 IPF LLC and predecessor companies have specialized in plastic fans and scrubbers for corrosive and chemical laden gas streams. We have over 30,000 successful installs with large and small corporations, municipal facilities, and university research labs.

Our primary supplier for fan components is Colasit AG of Switzerland. We add the drives and accessories here in Massachusetts and provide technical support and customer service to our clients and distributors throughout North American and beyond.

IPF Colasit's corrosion resistant fans have no metal surfaces or hardware exposed in the air stream.

Our entire focus has been to develop a corrosive resistant PVC and Polypro Blower that can hold up to aggressive acidic, caustic, humid, salt air, and chlorinated and other chemical lade gas streams.

We know that when a coated metal fan is used that sooner or later something happens to nick or damage the coating on the metal blower and highly corrosive gas streams then destroy the metal fan parts under the damaged plastic coating.

Our most common applications range in size from 50 CFM to 5000 CFM in a range of static pressures from .25" to 10."

We do offer larger fans in PVC or Polypropylene or Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic that go as high as 75,000 CFM and 24" of Static Pressure.

Adam Carola is the President and owner of IPF and has owned and developed a number of successful manufacturing and distribution companies. He has owned IPF LLC since 2000.

Leo Cronin is the Technical Advisor and formerly owned IPF for 30 years before he transferred the company prior to semi-retirement. He is a veteran manufacturer of Fans, Scrubbers, Dust Collectors and is still active with IPF for both technical support, and business advice.

Our corrosion resistant fan materials are suitable for such acids as HCL, Nitric, Sulfuric, Perchloric, Chromic, Phosphoric, and Hydrofluoric and such caustics as Sodium and Potassium Hydroxide.
